Our breed association was established in 2022 with the importance of preserving the original foundation herd of Cattle in Australia and New Zealand.
Aberdeen-Angus are absolutely pure Angus free of North American and external genetics. The breed traces back to the foundation of all Aberdeen-Angus cattle.
There are many major strengths to the breed. Aberdeen-Angus cattle have a quiet temperament, good milk, high fertility, naturally polled, hardy, and are naturally marbling cattle. They are easy to manage, thrive and perform under tough conditions, finishing best on grass.
What Makes Aberdeen-Angus Different?
Original foundation seedstock/genetics have maintained their wide jaw, hair type, soft skins, deep bodies, and more spring of rib.
The breed has excellent feet with plenty of heel a highly inheritable trait that has a High economic value by contributing to longevity and animal welfare
