Rocking Chair Ranch is located at Wandoan QLD, operating on mixed soil types over a variety of grazing conditions. We are a family operated enterprise who are passionate about stewarding our land holdings in a regenerative and holistically focused system. We are privileged to be guiding our Angus herd of more than 50 years through the ever-changing industry and environmental requirements. 

Our number one herd focus has always been on temperament and it is a non-negotiable here at the Ranch. Once temperament is satisfied, we get busy with a focus on fertility/maternal traits, phenotype, feed efficiency, carcass traits and early maturity. We believe that these qualities offer us and our seed stock Buyer, the best genetic advantages that result in measurable profit, animal adaptability and market acceptance. 

We have herd data and historical information that demonstrates our Aberdeen Angus cattle lines are exceeding our Herd focus values and more. We utilize these pure genetic lines through our herd in both stud and commercial production that is centred around grass fed beef. We offer registered seed stock annually and believe these genetics offer all beef producers the opportunity to increase their profit regardless of target market and production system.
